What Verified Means
Verified indicates that a specific product, service, or defined offering has been reviewed by Reliable under a published verification method.
Verification confirms that, within a bounded review scope, the offering’s public-facing representations are credible, consistent, and not misleading, and consistently represented within the defined review scope.
What Is Reviewed
Verification is based on:
- Materials submitted by the applicant
- A primary public-facing page representing the offering
Reliable conducts a bounded review, not an exhaustive audit.
What Verified Does Not Mean
Verified does not mean:
- Performance is guaranteed
- Results are certified
- The offering is best-in-class
- The company as a whole is verified
- All marketing claims everywhere have been reviewed
- Regulatory or compliance approval has been granted
Verification applies only to the specific offering listed and only for the active verification term.
Why Verification Exists
Verification exists to reduce noise and provide a clear, independent signal that an offering’s public representations meet a baseline standard of credibility and integrity.
It helps people make more informed decisions – not final decisions.
Badge Use & Validity
- The Verified badge may be displayed only while verification status is active.
- The badge must link directly to the official Reliable verification listing.
- Verification status and term are published on Reliable’s site and serve as the authoritative source.
Independence
Verification decisions are made independently by Reliable.
Fees cover evaluation and administration and do not influence outcomes.
Reliable does not provide consulting, remediation, or guidance on how to pass verification.
In Short
Verified means the offering was reviewed, the representations checked, and nothing material within scope was found to be misleading.
Nothing more. Nothing less.
